"less talk" recorded live at the mojo lounge - baltimore april 2001 with the powerpuff girls (mike bell - guitar / darryl dardenne - drums / rich feinstein - bass). This group only did one gig before being issued a cease-and-desist order from the cartoon network / "more noise" was recorded January 1997 at the doghouse studio with mike bell on guitar and mary knott on drums, maracas, and harmonica / "wanda the honda" was recorded live june 2000 at the ottobar's anti-fest outside in the parking lot where i blew out the p.a. halfway through. the soundman wouldn't turn the pa back on until i shut my motorcycle off as you can hear in the recording. the sounds were made by wanda the honda and an acoustic guitar leaning against my motorcycle with a pick-up running into an amp. "blast off" courtesy of nasa. / digital transfer and mastering by steve bridges at the boys room studio.... when i released this cd in 2001 i made a bunch of "less talk more noise" stickers and plastered them all over baltimore and especially the ottobar. the next time i went back to the ottobar the stickers had all been torn down and there was a big banner on the wall advertising a local sound production company with the slogan "less talk more rock". real original.... soon afterwards everybody was making noise....
